For the Lending Institution:

Since 1989, Harrison Marine has recovered over 6,500 boats and we are recognized as the leader in the marine repossession industry. Since most of these boats are sold at our marina facility located in Harrison Township, Michigan, we are also the Largest Repossessed Boat Dealer in the Midwest. Our marina facility on the banks of the Clinton River on Lake St. Clair enables us to obtain boats of any size by land or by sea.

Harrison Marine's goal is to provide fast, quality services with minimum expense to the financial institutions. Our professional staff and complete line of equipment including a 12 Ton hoist enables us to recover boats/yachts and specialized items of any size. Upon arrival, all vessels are inspected and a complete condition report is generated which includes detailed photos. Vessels are also completely cleaned and detailed in preparation for resale and are stored in large secured facility. When necessary or requested by the client, our staff can also provide routine boat maintenance and general repairs.

Our staff experience has proven over the years that we can skip trace any vessel and recover the collateral anywhere in the country in short time reducing charge off and maximizing return.

For the Buyers:

Once a vessel arrives at our facility, a mandated redemption period must be met before the lending institution can review and decide on offers from potential buyers. However, bids are accepted from date of arrival and on average, a vessel is sold within 30-40 days from the date of arrival at Harrison Marine.

All vessels listed on our web site have been inspected, cleaned and are ready for resale or final disposition. Sale of these vessels are done by closed bid process where all offers received are submitted to the lending institution for review and decision. Buyers can bid on as many boats as they wish. Once a lending institution accepts a bid or offer, the purchasing process starts. We can arrange for a marine surveyor, mechanical inspection, storage, transportation or any other marine service required or requested. Services are provided at the buyer's expense.
